Magnificent Monsters is a special Yu Gi Oh! TCG set for collectors, anime fans and active duelists. The set introduces 18 brand new Reimagined Anime Cards inspired by some of the most iconic cards used by the heroes from the first six Yu Gi Oh! series. The set includes new interpretations connected to Dark Magician, Kuriboh, Elemental HERO, Stardust Dragon, Number 39 Utopia, Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Decode Talker.
All 18 Reimagined Cards are available as fully playable Ultra Rare cards and also appear as Extended Art versions in Ultra Rare and Starlight Rare. The new Grand Master Rares are especially exclusive, featuring a hieroglyphic card border and individual serial numbering. Each of the 18 Reimagined Cards receives only 100 Grand Master Rare copies per distribution region, making them highly sought after chase cards.
In addition to the anime inspired cards, Magnificent Monsters includes more new cards, variant art cards and foil upgrades. This includes new anime cards such as Orichalcos Sword of Sealing and Rainbow Bridge Bifrost, new artworks of I:P Masquerena and S:P Little Knight, as well as W:P Fancy Ball. The set also features ten Chibi Variant Art cards of well known Yu Gi Oh! cards and six new boss monsters, one for different Special Summoning types.
The set uses a slot system similar to Magnificent Mavens, assigning cards to specific pack positions. Each box contains three packs with five Ultra Rare cards each, plus three additional Secret Rare cards with a chance to upgrade to Starlight Rare.
