The alarm sirens scream, metal shakes and the ship is moments away from destruction. In Escape Pods there is no time for hesitation. You are the final hope for the crew. Amidst the chaos you organize the evacuation, load crew members into escape pods and transport them to secure refuges on a nearby moon. Every turn is a race against time and every decision carries weight.
Escape Pods is a tense strategic experience for one to five players that rewards clear thinking under pressure. Your goal is to rescue as many crew members as possible. But rescue alone is not enough. The combination of crew members within each refuge directly affects the final outcome. Poor planning can turn a daring evacuation into a partial failure.
Gameplay is streamlined yet deeply tactical. On your turn you may perform up to two actions by placing action tokens on your personal action cards. Each action space is limited, forcing you to adapt when options are blocked. Actions must be fully resolved before moving on, creating a satisfying rhythm of planning and execution. Managing your action economy is the key to success.
The game ends once the refuges are full or no crew members remain to be evacuated. Scoring then reveals who planned ahead, stayed flexible and distributed the crew most effectively. Escape Pods delivers strong thematic immersion paired with meaningful decisions and shines both as a solo challenge and a group experience.
