Dragomino
German
Description
The big moment has arrived. You have been chosen as a dragon trainer and are invited to explore a mysterious island where rare dragons dwell. But you are not alone. Other trainers have also arrived, all hoping to discover the greatest number of baby dragons. Who among you will prove to be the most successful explorer?
Dragomino features gameplay inspired by Kingdomino, but is designed especially for younger players and families. At the start of each round, four domino tiles are revealed, each showing two different types of landscapes. Beginning with the player who holds the mommy dragon, everyone takes turns drafting one tile and adding it to their personal island.
If the newly placed tile matches the landscape of one or more adjacent tiles of the same type, you draw an egg tile for that landscape and place it face up at the matching location. Some eggs contain a baby dragon, worth one victory point. Others show an empty shell. In that case, you take the mommy dragon, which gives you first choice in the next round.
After seven rounds, the game ends. The player who holds the mommy dragon scores one additional victory point. The player with the most baby dragons wins the game.
