Inspired by the best selling board game, this card driven adventure invites you to craft your own version of the War of the Ring. Every session feels like a new chapter of a sweeping saga filled with choices, risks, and unforgettable heroism.
Up to four players compete in two teams. The Shadow stands against the Free Peoples, and each team uses a unique card deck that reflects the strengths, weaknesses, and identities of its factions. The Free Peoples fight desperately to destroy the One Ring while defending their homes from Sauron’s advancing forces. Meanwhile the Shadow must strike quickly to end the quest or corrupt Frodo over time with wounds, hardship, and the grief of lost companions.
During play, you will use cards representing characters, armies, items, and events of the Ring War. Each card moves the Fellowship along its path, strengthens the defences of the Free Peoples, or fuels the Shadow’s push to conquer Middle earth. New battlegrounds are activated each round, bringing the feel of large scale conflict directly to the table.
More than one hundred original illustrations by renowned Tolkien artists – including breathtaking landscapes from the Shire to Mordor – turn this game into both an experience and a treasured collection for lovers of Middle earth.
