At the heart of the game lies a clever card placement system that merges strategic timing with precise resource management. The main board features colored action slots, and your cards share the same color system. Matching a card to a slot grants you both the slot’s powerful action and the card’s unique benefit. This dual engine drives your entire project: construct domes, expand tunnel networks, develop labs, farms and desalination facilities, boost production, advance on the initiative track and acquire ever stronger cards that shape long term planning.
With over 220 cards divided into eras and functional types, the strategic depth grows as your underwater empire expands. Every tunnel, dome and facility contributes to your endgame score. The double sided player boards open multiple paths to victory, ensuring no two underwater nations ever look the same.
