Welcome to the wide open savannah where balance planning and subtle tension determine success. Savannah Park is an elegant tile placement puzzle that blends calm beauty with engaging interaction. You develop your own wildlife park aiming to group animals with their own kind and create thriving herds. Yet every move is shaped by shared decisions making each turn a thoughtful challenge.
All players begin with the same set of 33 unique animal tiles randomly arranged in their personal park. Open spaces of trees grass bush fires and rocks structure the board with some areas remaining empty throughout the game. On each turn one player names a specific face up animal tile that everyone must pick up flip face down and move to a different empty space in their own park. Once flipped a tile can never be moved again increasing tension with every round.
After the final tile is placed scoring begins. Animals adjacent to bush fires may be removed if their number matches the fire strength. Open tree and grass spaces award points. The heart of the game lies in herd scoring. For each of the six animal species the largest connected herd is multiplied by the number of watering holes it contains. Careful positioning and risk management are essential for high scores.
