Thick mist hangs over Roanoke in 1587. Suspicion spreads among the villagers while a hidden ritual begins to unfold. Pagan Fate of Roanoke is an expandable asymmetric deduction card game for two players where every decision matters and every card becomes part of a psychological duel.
One player takes the role of the witch striving to complete a powerful ritual of renaturation. The other embodies the witch hunter determined to uncover her true identity among nine villagers. Turn by turn both players place their action pawns to draw cards gain influence and secure tactical advantages. Each side commands a unique fifty card deck allowing distinct strategies and approaches.
As the witch you brew potions strengthen your familiar and cast charms to gather secrets and let Mother Nature reclaim the island. As the hunter you recruit allies secure key locations and relentlessly investigate villagers before the fatal ritual is fulfilled.
Tension rises through bluffing timing and clever card play. Every match unfolds differently and challenges you to read your opponent’s intentions. Who will control Roanoke and decide the fate of the colony.
