Description
The Carcassonne Towers and Robbers expansion introduces a new strategic layer to the classic tile laying game. Beyond building cities roads and monasteries players can now control the landscape from above. Watchtowers rise across the map allowing players to capture rival meeples from a distance while cunning robbers bring additional tension to the busy medieval roads.
Wooden tower pieces are built on special landscape tiles and can grow higher throughout the game. The taller the tower the further its view stretches across the board. If an opposing meeple stands within range it can be captured and held prisoner until it is traded back or ransomed. This mechanic adds a thrilling interactive element and turns every tower into a powerful strategic tool.
The robber figures introduce new scoring opportunities along roads. When a road is completed they can generate additional points and create fresh tactical choices for experienced Carcassonne players. This expansion is perfect for groups that enjoy deeper interaction and clever strategic play while keeping the familiar elegance of the original game.
