Description
Mist over Carcassonne invites you to experience the world of Carcassonne in a completely new way. For the first time cooperation takes center stage instead of competition. Together you face a growing threat that slowly spreads across the landscape and transforms everything you thought you knew.
The core rules remain familiar. Tiles are placed points are scored and the landscape expands turn by turn. This time however clever building alone is not enough. You must work together to contain the spreading mist and the ghosts roaming within it control the cursed land around the graveyards and make strategic use of the haunted castles if you want to succeed.
The pressure increases steadily. If too many ghosts appear or all three days pass before enough points are collected the game is lost. Every decision matters every move must be coordinated and only as a team can you prevent impending defeat.
Mist over Carcassonne is a standalone cooperative experience that offers fresh excitement for both newcomers and seasoned Carcassonne fans. At the same time all included modules can be fully integrated into the larger Carcassonne system and used as expansions. This flexibility opens up new possibilities and brings a dark atmospheric twist to familiar games.
Step into the mist covered land work together and face the challenge. Carcassonne has never felt this mysterious.
